Ninja price india : Rs 2.69 lakh

Pune, Oct. 7 Two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) has launched the Kawasaki Ninja 250R.
The much awaited Ninja 250 in India with a technical specs of the bike include a 249 cc 4 stroke 32 bhp engine which is liquid cooled with a claimed fuel mileage of 42.5 Kpl. Imported from Thailand, the spare parts will be imported from Thailand and Japan.

It will be available in racing green and black, and priced at Rs 2,69,970 (ex-showroom) in Delhi and Rs 2,69,580(ex-showroom) in Chennai. The company is expecting the sale of at least 1000 units in this year and have already started the assembling of the same.

The ninja is world known for its style, power and appealing looks. The other bike manufacturers will have to prepare for some tough competition in the high end performance two wheeler segment.

As far as im concerned for 3 lac rupees...it feels costly ! prices were somewhere rumored around 1.5-2.0 lac before launch.
As always, Indians are used to paying premium over anything bought here & definitely there will be fanatics who would spend for the same ! bajaj should decrease the prices in a couple of months!

I think comparing this to the new Karizma is rather stupid - this is a different class and breed of machine. What's painful is that compared to even the Comet (another 250cc twin w/ around the same amount of power), it costs over a lakh more. I've got the Yam R15, and while Bajaj's pricing looks more like they'd rather sell their own Pulsars than the Ninja, even Yamaha isn't pricing their products cheap. Think about it. Even if Yamaha or Honda come out with their 250 now, I have this rather uncomfortable feeling they're gonna price it similarly or worse...

How can you all assume that the bike was gonna be around 2 or less than 2.5LAc, its your mistake, for hyping your dreams with your own tag price.Dont compare the CC, this bike is was more powerfull than 220c pulsar or evn karizma. This 250CC is enough to leave all indan bike way behind!!I will say this bike is worth each and every penny, so if you have complaint about it, then go F*** urself!!!Proud of bajaj to launch the beginner elite class" NINJA!! "

I think this is a radical step in the history of Indian motorcycling. We are well on our way to biking haven as more players will get into this segment to compete with one another getting bigger and better bikes. I dont know why everyone is complaining. If you got the moolah go for it, else buy a Bajaj Chetak or Super maybe :-)
